Wallflowers

I got an awesome birthday present this year, something I've been eying for a while- wallflowers! I knew I wouldn't be able to put 25 nails in my wall to put them up though, so I had to get creative.

I bought four dollar store canvases, and covered them with blue and purple paints (it took four coats to get a solid colour) and then painted a design on each canvas with a mix of white and blue or purple.

I made sure all of the designs stemmed from the middle to make it seem as though it were one disjointed piece. Then I laid out the flowers where I thought they should go along the "vines".

Next I took stick on pearls (also from the dollar store) and placed them at the centre of each flower, just to add a little shine. I then hot glue-gunned all the flowers to the canvases. 

Then with a lot of measuring and pencil marks, I cut 25 nails in the wall down to four! Thank you so much for the awesome gift Mika! ;)
